I had to say this mantra ‘All We Need Is love, love, love’ when I began my journey after getting off my bus. I noticed a man who actually immediately seeing him you thought of a wild man. That did not deter me from trying to offer him food because he was looking inside of the trash container for something edible or not. I told myself to suck it up and don’t take ‘no’ for an answer.  He got his wheaties going by saying, “hi baby” which has always incense me..but I maintained my control and continued to encourage him to take the food, he did.  Walking away I could hear him talking his talk, didn’t matter I knew he was eating clean nourishing food that day.

There was a man whom our paths had crossed several days before and when I approached him offering food a lady with her child interrupted me speaking with him. Asking me why…I find myself repeatedly answering that question. Here is the answer: People are hungry… from the sublime to the ridiculous..meaning one does not have to be living on the street (they are the worse) to be hungry in our World now. I could very well cross that thin line as anyone else out there. Hopefully, if there is  karma for humanity when we help those with less , we MUST do our best to create that balance.

Project FEEDING the HUNGRY has received it tax identification number and its own bank account. We both are excited about the networking that is coming out of fixing sandwiches for the people living on the streets. This inspires us to do this work through our own aches and pains, knowing people want to help but do not know where to begin.  Help us, we have now fed 316 as of  July 19.  Striving to feed 500 by Aug. 20th, this is easily reachable unfortunately.

Many thanks to someone who through her belief in what we are trying to carry out with this project, donated money that will feed and water at least 30 people living on the street. Blessings by you Roxie to those 30 is more than you can imagine.

Blessings All:
