After my trip out last week when I got home I thought about the many I saw whomI could not feed that day. What would happen I thought if there were people doing this all the time everywhere.. what a difference it would make! Now, I truly do not ask of those who are in the mist of holding on to their established lives or are in the process of creating one to stop what you’re doing to take this on. What I am suggesting is those who after finishing raising their families and their working life is done .. wondering ” What do I do now with my life?” I have an idea…
Remember the people on the street have little or nothing to eat so a simple peanut butter sandwich would be appreciated. Seniors, if you live near or know other seniors you could do this together. It also helps with your physical health (walking) and gives you mental stimulation. Middle-agers, many of you donate to organizations that feed the hungry though not in your city or town. So on your weekends before going to that shopping center, take with you a bag lunch for that person on the median as you wait for the light or sitting on the sidewalk before going into the complex. Twenty to thirty somethings, this will be your world so create ideas that help eliminate hunger in your future by implementing ways NOW.
